in High Temperature Sensors
Watlow manufactures high temperature sensors available in ASTM E 230 types S, R, or B. These sensors feature a temperature range up to 1700C, and outside diameter ranging from 1.6" to 6.4".
-
in Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs)
Watlow makes resistance temperature sensors with ceramic elements for a temperature range of -200 to 650C, with a high signal-to-noise output, with insulation resistance values exceeding DIN-IEC-751 standards which minimizes self heating and ensures sensor sensitivity. These RTDs are available in a 6 or 12 inch adjustable spring style, an adjustable armor style, an open air (with or without flange) type, a cartridge with flange model, and a surface mount model.
-
in Surface Temperature Sensors
Watlow offers surface temperature thermocouples in a variety of configurations, including: MICROCOIL, high temperature/platinum, base metal, mineral insulated, tube/wire applications, radio frequency thermocouples, etc. Tube/wire application thermocouples have lead lengths ranging from 6" to 360", sheath lengths up to 12", temperature allowances up to 900°F, and outside diameters ranging from 0.125 to 0.25".
-
in Temperature Sensors
Watlow manufactures a complete line of resistance temperature sensors that include resistance temperature detectors, thermistors and the ENVIROSEAL brand temperature sensor for heavy duty applications in harsh environments. Watlow's platinum resistance elements are designed to ensure precise and repeatable temperature measurement. RTDs and thermistors are accurate, sensitive, standardized and interchangeable.
-
in Thermistors
Watlow Electric Manufacturing Company manufactures thermistor that are highly-sensitive to small changes in temperatures as they feature accuracies of +/- 1 percent at 77 F to +/- 15 pecent at 32 F. The thermistors can handle temperatures ranging from -75 to 500 F and -60 to 260 C.
-
in Thermocouples
Watlow carries an array of thermocouples. General application styles include adjustable spring type thermocouples that fit a large range of hole depths and bend to any angle, and armor style thermocouples with stainless steel hoses that offer additional lead protection in demanding applications. Mineral-insulated thermocouples come in the basic cut and stripped style, wafer head Style AS, and thermowell-compatible Style AT.
