Surface mount thermocouples are offered in type J and ring lug style, as well as in 72" and 120" sizes. Another type is the MgO thermocouple for temperatures to 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit, and for even hotter temperatures, an ultra-high temperature thermocouple made from platinum.
