in Magnetic Proximity Sensors
Smith Systems' magnetic proximity sensors are used in turbine flow meters along with counting, safety, and control applications. The sensors provide no-drag flow measurement for high accuracy, and are resistant to oil, dirt and moisture. Two and three wire models are available.
-
in Magnetic Sensors
Smith Systems offers its Digi-Tran Series of active magnetic sensors and zero speed sensors for truck transmissions, heavy duty off-road equipment and power take-off shafts, railroad axles, and glass processing equipment. Nine models of magnetic sensors are available, each with high vibration noise immunity.
-
in Motion Sensors
Smith Systems, Inc. offers stop motion, over/under speed, and quadrature output smart sensors/controls. These sensors can perform rotational direction, quadrature output, under/over-speed detection, and stop motion control/signal processing functions. Sensors can be in-line or conversion signal converted, and they can be configured for standard control/switch mechanism triggering.

in Proximity Sensors
Smith Systems Inc. manufactures Digi-Prox inductive magnetic proximity sensors. Designed to handle a variety of temperatures, the sensors are resistant to oil, dirt and moisture. Available as two and three-wire models, the sensors provide no-drag flow measurement for high accuracy, and can also be used in turbine flow meters. The proximity sensors are available with a number of supply voltages and are compatible with digital equipment.
-
in Safety Sensors
Smith Systems is a manufacturer of the Digi-Prox line of inductive magnetic proximity safety sensors. Applications include counting, control, safety and others.
-
in Speed Sensors
Smith Systems offers zero, proximity and standard digital speed sensors. All three are active sensors. The standard sensors operate at 5 to 30 kHz, the zero speed in 0 to 20 kHz, and the proximity sensors from 0 to 2 kHz. They also carry passive speed sensors to convert mechanical motion to A/C voltage without a power supply.
