  MTS Sensor Technology Corp. offers linear position sensors in R-Series, G-Series, and E-Series configurations. RS rod-style sensors have an IP68/IP69K super-shield housing, linear/absolute measurement capabilities, non-contact sensing technology, stroke lengths to 7620 mm, operating temperatures ranging from -40 to +167°F, and a 45 N-m mounting torque. These sensors have applications for exposed outdoor environments, harsh industrial conditions, and hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders.

Models include the M-Series analog sensors, M-Series digital sensors with temperature ranges of -40C to 125C and intrinsically safe and sanitary configurations.

  MTS manufactures a variety of Temposonic linear position sensors. The R-Series offers both hydraulic, profile, and flexible housing styles, and resolution as low as 0.001 mm. The G-Series includes products with either analog or digital pulse outputs, and hydraulic or profile housing styles; stroke ranges vary between 50-1525 mm, 50-2540 mm, 50-5080 mm, and 50-7620 mm, and resolution is either infinite or controller dependent. Several other product series and housing styles are also available, from the embeddable IP40 and IP67 in the C-Series, to the rod and cylinder in the E-Series.
