in Airflow Sensors
Gems Sensors & Controls offers three series' of piston type alloy airflow switches. The FS-925 ensures proper airflow in water and waste systems. The FS-926 features a low-flow piston that allows the detection down to 50 cc/min. The FS-10798 Series airflow switches are externally adjustable. They offer an infinite number of flow settings at pressures up to 1000 psig (69 bar), with low pressure drop and precise repeatability.

in Flow Sensors
Gems Sensors & Controls offers the new RF-2500 Series. With flow ranges from 0.1 to 60 GPM, they offer bright, visual indication with choice of pulsed DC output or adjustable 1 amp switched output. Two basic styles are available. The first style includes different paddle wheel sensors to meet different needs; for example, the RFA provides accurate flow rate indication with visual confirmation, while the RFI does much the same, but with a removable lens for quick cleanout. Second, turbine-style TurboFlow sensors come in three varieties: the economical FT-110 with accuracy +/-3% of reading, low flow rate FT-210, and NSF-approved FT-330, which also provides +/-2% accuracy of reading and +/-0.5% repeatability.

Gems Sensors & Controls offers TurboFlow turbine and RotorFlow flow sensors. TurboFlow turbine flow sensors have flow rates ranging from 0.1 to 8 GPM, and ±2-3% accuracy readings. RotorFlow sensors feature flow ranges from 0.1 to 60 GPM, compact inline housings, and bright visual indications. These sensors are available in high performance stainless steel, brass, and plastic housings.

Gems Sensors & Controls offers paddlewheel RotorFlow flow sensors. Sensors are available in compact/inline stainless steel, brass, and plastic housings. Sensors have flows ranging from 0.1 to 60.0 GPM, an operating range from 4.5 to 24 VDC, and a continuous analog output range from 0 to 10 VDC. Sensors feature bright, visual indications with a choice of adjustable 1 amp switched or pulsed DC outputs.

Gem Sensors & Controls supplies pressure transducers including general purpose/OEM, high accuracy, and specialty types. The general purpose pressure transducers vacuum to 6000 psi, while the high accuracy transducers vacuum up to 10,000 psi. The specialty types include wet differential pressure transducers, absolute transducers, very low differential pressure transducers, barometric pressure transducers, sanitary pressure transducers, and digital output pressure transducers.

The majority of general purpose/OEM transducers vacuum to 6,000 psi, while the high accuracy transducers feature 10 to 10,000 psi, 15 to 10,000 psi, or 7.5 to 6,000 psi. Gems Sensors & Controls offers single and multi-point ultrasonic level sensors. Single point ultrasonic level sensors monitor the toughest applications, they can handle pressures to 1000 PSI, and come in side, top, and bottom mounting configurations. They are unaffected by turbulence, particulate, vapors, and foam. Multi-point ultrasonic level sensors have a range of up to 49", a mounting measuring at 1" NPT, and a 2" dead band/beam width. Applications include: slurries, acids, inks, paints, beverage, chemical feed, control automation, waste water, water, etc.

Gems ULS Series of ultrasonic sensors are designed for sensing both viscous and light liquids, such as acid, fron, paint, and lacquer. With welded, sealless stainless steel probes, they can withstand high temperatures and pressures without risk of leaking. The sensors are housed in cast aluminum and are NEMA 4/NEMA7 explosion-proof and water tight. Single-point and mult-point level sensors include the company's smallest model, the ULS1, for pressures up to 250 psig, as well as the ULS10 and ULS100 explosion-proof models, and space-saving ULS11 model, all with lengths to 99".
