  • in Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Sensors

    Futurlec distributes carbon dioxide sensors used in air quality monitoring, smoke alarm, mine and tunnel warning system, and greenhouse applications. The sensors feature detection range of 0-10,000 ppm, response time of less than 60 seconds, and heater voltage of 6V.

  • in Distance Measuring Sensors

    Futurlec features ultrasonic range finders that measure from 3cm to 3m with an accuracy of 2cm. Predominant uses are robots and stationary security systems, and a single trigger pulse can measure distance from the unit to the target. Futurlec ultrasonic range finder uses a standard TTL 5V power supply and can be used in conjunction with many microcontrollers.

  • in Flow Sensors

    Three types of flow sensors are carried by Futurlec. The Flow08L0 is a 0.8 to 8 l/min sensor for use in water conservation systems, storage tanks, water recycling home applications, and irrigation systems where water does not exceed 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Its fitting is for a 0.25" pipe. The Flow14L1 senses flow rates from 1.5 to 14.1 l/min for many of the same applications listed above, but for a larger, 0.375" pipe. Lastly, the Flow25L0 is meant for flow rates from 1.5 to 25 l/min, 0.5" pipes, and temperatures up to 80 degrees Celsius.

    Futurlec offers 0.8 to 8.0 L/min flow sensors. These sensors have supply voltages ranging from 2.4 to 26V, they can fit 1/4" pipes, and can handle water temperatures ranging from 0 to 40C. They feature digital/open collector outputs, and they are ideal for the following applications: irrigation systems, water recycling, storage tanks, water conservation systems, water treatment systems, etc.

    Futurelec offers Motorola MPXV5004G ultra-low pressure sensors. These sensors provide a highly efficient 2.5% accuracy rating in the pressure range from 0 to 4kPa. These micro-machined pressure sensors are fully integrated and temperature compensated from 10°C to 60°C and offer exceptional value among integrated low-pressure sensors. Sensors have a 0.2 to 4.7v output, making them well suited for micro-processor/micro-controller-based products/systems. Applications include: washing machines, liquid level sensing, health care equipment, commercial, industrial, and consumer appliances.

  • in Ultrasonic Sensors

    Futurlec carries a full line of ultrasonic sensors, which begins with the basic model and ends with several waterproof options. The basic ultrasonic sensor is ideal for use in alarm systems and object detection, and provides a sensitivity >-65 dB. The dual use compact sensor is suitable for range measurements, robot applications, and alarm sensors due to its 12 m detection range, while the long-range sensor has a detection range up to 18 m. Finally, waterproof models include the first and second generation waterproof ultrasonic sensors, as well as the 60 kHz version.
