in Hall Effect Sensors
BEI Sensors manufactures Hall Effect sensors that can resolve up to 3600 degrees of motion and feature an operational life exceeding 10 million cycles. The sensors can be installed on circuit boards or mounted to mechanical assemblies, and feature several termination options, including integral connectors, surface mount, or flying leads. The sensors are found in transportation, aerospace/defense, and industrial applications.
-
in Linear Position Sensors
BEI Sensors offers contacting linear position sensors. Sensors allow temperatures to 300°C, 1 million meters of operational life, and they are capable of over 1 meter of travel. Sensors have applications for mechanical assembly mounting, circuit board installation, and hydraulic/pneumatic cylinder incorporation. Additional sensor features include: an active electrical travel range from 0.5" to 24", multiple termination types/mounting options, and an independent linearity range from ±0.038% to ±2%.

in Position Sensors
BEI Sensors offers both contacting and non-contacting rotary sensors, as well as linear sensors. The contacting rotary position sensors meet IP66/67 sealing requirements and provide operational life exceeding 10 million cycles. Several models can also resolve up to 3600 degrees of motion. The non-contacting Hall Effect rotary position sensors provide up to six turns with 2160 degrees of resolution and a linearity of +/-0.5%. Meanwhile, the contacting linear position sensors offer options capable of over one meter of travel and one million meters of operational life at temperatures up to 300 degrees Celsius. These devices can be incorporated into hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders, circuit boards, or other mechanical assemblies.
-
in Rotary Position Sensors
BEI Sensors manufactures non-contact and contacting rotary position sensors available with single or multi-turn configurations up to 3600 degrees of motion. With an operational life that exceeds 10 million cycles, the sensors are available with integral connector and flying head terminations, along with resistance ranging from 0.1 to 30K.
